Video/Results: Harness Pony Racing
In Harness Pony Racing action at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street on Boxing Day [Dec.26], several races managed to get underway before the rain came.
In the 1:04/4 and Faster A Class, Jason Lopes in the bike of Captain Progress clocked a time of 1:06/2 to finish ahead of CJ Whited and Black and Mild who recorded a time of 1:07/2.
In the 1:09/4 – 1:11/4 A Class, Cameron Harris and Here Comes Shady finished first with a time of 1:08/2, while Final Time with Chicken Maybury finished second with a time of 1:09/4 and Tuxedo’s Lady with Zinho Cooper in the bike finished third with a time of 1:10/1.
In the 1:05/1 – 1:06/1 A Class, Edward Roque and Casmir Camotion finished in 1:08/2, while David Lopes and Pastor Paul clocked 1:09/1 to take second.
The 1:06/2 – 1:07/2 A Class saw Charles Whited and Just Like That finish first in 1:11/4, Samantha Hayward and Red Grand take second in 1:11/4, and Catrina Stevens and Fair Exchange finish third in 1:12/0.
The 1:09/4 – 1:11/4 B Class results were; 1:08/1 Jason Peniston – Nite Dreamer, 1:08/1 Frances Desilva – Major Medical, 1:09/1 Catrina Stevens – Mr. Indiana, and 1:16/0 Zinho Cooper – Final Notice.
