Beauty Therapist Opens In-Home Spa

With prices starting from $12, beauty therapist Angela Brangman opened the doors of ‘Anjel’s In-House Spa’ in Warwick at the beginning of January, aiming to “provide great quality services but at a fraction of the price.”

Ms Brangman said that after working at a day spa in Hamilton, she found some of her clients struggling to pay the high prices of the spa, with some having to cut back on beauty services due to economic hardship.

“I wanted to be able to provide a more affordable option, with the same quality service and luxurious feeling of being pampered that every women enjoys, so that even though times are hard, ladies can still afford to take care of themselves and feel beautiful,” said Ms Brangman.

A fully qualified CIDESCO Beauty and Body Therapist, the young Bermudian studied at the Younique College of Beauty & Holistics in Northern Ireland.

Ms Brangman has additional certifications in specialties including Spa Therapies, Hot Stone Massage, Advanced Massage Techniques, Sea Shell/Bamboo Massage, Electrolysis, Advanced Waxing, and Nail Art.

“I love to be able to provide great quality services but at a fraction of the price at other locations,” said Ms Brangman. “To be able to reveal the beauty inside a person through various treatments and techniques is quite amazing.

“I love what I do, and have thoroughly enjoyed treating clients in the salon and learning more about the beauty industry including how to to better serve my clients.”

Ms Brangman offers a host of services including nail care, facials, waxing, eyebrow/eyelash tinting, ear candling, various types of massage therapy, salt glows and more.

Sample prices include: Eyebrow wax or threading $12, Full leg wax $37, One hour body massage $60, Classic manicure $28, Classic pedicure $40, Organic facial $47, Indian head massage $25, and Hopi ear candling $30.

Her in-home spa is located Spring Hill, Westering Lane, Warwick. Treatments are for ladies only, by appointment 7 days a week. She also offers a “Pampering Party Service” for groups of ladies alongside another Bermudian Nail Tech at a group rate of $60 per person.
