Bradford Boss Hails Wells’ Work-Rate
UK football team Bradford City’s boss Phil Parkinson said he believes one of the main reasons behind Nahki Wells current impressive form in City’s attack is his “desire to listen and learn.”
The 21-year-old Bermudian striker has started City’s last five matches – scoring in three of them.
Mr Parkinson told the team’s website he has been “impressed by the effort and endeavour put in by the pacey striker in recent weeks as he tries to establish himself in the City first team.”
“What I like about Nahki is his ability to take things on board, listen and improve,” said Mr Parkinson. “He is always listening to what myself and Steve (Parkin) have to say and he tries hard to put it into practise.
“Even at half time at Watford on Saturday he listened to what we had to say and improved his performance levels in the second half. I really like him as a player and I can see some potential in him.
“The mental attitude Nahki has is something that we want from all of our players. You can only coach players to a certain degree, you need to identify players that have that desire within themselves to want to improve,” concluded Mr Parkinson.
Nahki, thank you for setting a new standard for all the youth players who want to become a professional!
Now continue the standard set by the prior admin and produce a proper business plan…18 nos and nothing but news of FIFA placements and the Samba school.. Past time Cal, past time…
An excellent role model for our youngsters, well done Nahki I follow Bradford’s results every week and seeing your scoring result has warmed my heart.
Well done indeed.Very,very impressive…
