City Street Closures For Funeral

The City of Hamilton announced today [Jan.27] the following streets will be closed from 1:00pm to 4:30pm for the funeral of Mr. Mustafa Abdul-Hadee at the Masjid Muhhamuad: Laffan Street between Washington Street and Cedar Avenue and Brae Road between Elliott Street and Laffan Street. 59-year-old Abdul-Hadee, along with his brother, was killed in a boating accident earlier this week.

In addition, the Ministry of Public Works has advised the public that trenching work will take place on South Road, near Astwood Park starting today and will continue during the weekend. The public, especially pedestrians, are advised to proceed with caution as these works take place.
