Gale/Thunderstorm Warning Issued
Earlier today [Jan.2] the Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning, Small Craft Warning and Thunderstorm Advisory.
The Gale Warning is valid from tomorrow morning [Jan.3] until Wednesday morning, and the Small Craft Warning and Thunderstorm Advisory is valid from this afternoon until tomorrow morning.
The forecast said, “Winds will increase as a cold front slowly approaches, bringing an increase in showers, with a risk of thunder this evening through much of Tuesday. Gales arrive Tuesday morning and continue behind the afternoon frontal passage, not easing until early on Wednesday. High pressure will rebuild briefly from the west Wednesday and Thursday.
