New Year’s Molotov Cocktail Incident

Police responded to a reported Molotov cocktail incident on New Year’s Day.

The attack took place at a Plaices Point Road, Pembroke residence at 11 am yesterday morning [Jan. 1].

“The resulting fire was quickly extinguished by the occupants and neighbours,” said a Police spokesman. “No one was injured.”

Bermuda Fire & Rescue Service personnel also attended the scene and inquiries into this incident are ongoing.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011.
