Hamilton Mayor Calls Public Meeting

The City of Hamilton will host a public meeting on the upcoming municipal elections next Tuesday [Jan. 17] starting at 6:00 pm at the Hamilton Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall on King Street.

Making the announcement today [Jan. 12] Mayor Charles Gosling said he was inviting all City residents, business owners and the general public to attend the Corporation of Hamilton forum.

“Municipal elections will take place in May and there have been a lot of changes concerning the process,” he said. “These changes include who can vote and who can run for office. We will also provide an update on projects that are going on around Hamilton.

“The meeting will start at 6:00pm on January 17 and we welcome everyone who has questions or would like to share their thoughts.”
