Accident Causes Traffic Delays In Flatts

Morning commuters faced delays heading into Hamilton from the East End this morning [Feb.6], after an accident occurred at approximately 8am on North Shore in the vicinity of the Aquarium. We unofficially understand no one was injured, however traffic was delayed for a short while a tow truck attended to the damaged taxi.

    I wonder when the last time was that this island went a whole day without one of these preventable so-called “accidents”… not counting hurricane days when most people stay inside…

    We all need to slow down, and drive more sensibly. Be courteous, but not overly courteous; eg. Don’t let out a whole line of traffic just to build up another line behind your own vehicle, and then a disgruntled bike rider decides to over take the whole line and possibly damage his bike or injure himself…

    Bike riders take it easy, bikes don’t have seat-belts and speed kills, duh…
