Man Arrested For DUI After Accident
Around 9pm last night [Feb.7] police and first responders attended a collision at the junction of Spanish Point Road and Clarence Dale Drive in Pembroke.
“It appears that a car was travelling along Spanish Point Road when it collided with a utility pole and a wall. The car received extensive front end damage and the wall was also damaged,” said a police spokesperson.
“The driver, a 57 year old Pembroke man was conveyed to KEMH via ambulance for treatment of minor injuries and later released.
“He was then arrested on suspicion of impaired driving. He was detained in police custody and later bailed. A court appearance is expected in due course.”
