Two Injured After Motorbike Accident

Two people were injured after a motorcycle accident on Monday night [Feb.13] in Southampton.

A police spokesperson said, “Around 10:45pm on Monday February 13th, police and first responders attended a reported collision on Middle Road in Southampton. It appears that two motorcycles were travelling along Middle Road when they collided near the junction with Pompano Beach Road.

“”The riders, a 35 year old Pembroke man and a 42 year old Sandys woman were both injured and conveyed to KEMH via ambulance. At least one of the motorcycles was extensively damaged.

“The Pembroke man was treated and later released and at last check, the Sandys woman was in stable condition on a general ward. Inquiries into this incident are underway. Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information to contact PC Barbi Harris on 295-0011.”
