NASA Scientific Research Aircraft Visits

March 4, 2012

A NASA Scientific Research Aircraft was seen yesterday afternoon [Mar.3] parked at the LF Wade International Airport.

The Martin B-57 Canberra was a United States-built, twin jet engine bomber and reconnaissance aircraft but is believed to have been retired in 1983. The last remaining WB-57′s are assigned to the NASA Johnson Space Center as high altitude scientific research aircraft.
