Opera Screening Series Continues At BUEI

Bermuda’s Gilbert and Sullivan Society is inviting locals to a night at the Metropolitan Opera this weekend at the Tradewinds Auditorium at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute [BUEI]

The latest screening from the New York opera company is  ”Gounod’s Faust” on Saturday [Mar. 31]. Upcoming performances include “Enchanted Island” on Saturday, April 14th, “Puccini’s Madame Butterfly” on Saturday, April 28th; and Verdi’s  “La Traviata” on Saturday, May 12th with each screening at 5pm.

A cash bar will be available during all intermissions and complimentary hors d’oeuvres will be provided.

Tickets are $35 and are available here,

All ticket holders are entitled to a 10% discount at the Harbourfront restaurant following the performance upon presentation of their ticket stubs.
