This afternoon a spokesperson said, “On the night of the event, we took in $10,400, which doesn’t yet include the $1 per drink sold that the BAA will donate to PALS once it completes its accounting. However, we are now past the $200,000 mark even without this.
“We want to especially thank the BAA for their agreement to host this event for the past 5 years. It’s important to have a venue that encourages community participation, and the BAA has always been willing to “set the stage” for us. They arrange for the food and drink, and fully support our head-shaving, face-painting, Kid’s Corner, and music. We’re lucky to have such a great partner to help us encourage families to come out and join in the fun.
