WindReach Walk And Roll Fundraiser

March 18, 2012

WindReach Bermuda is inviting the public to participate in their Walk and Roll fundraising event next Saturday [Mar. 24].

The event is open to walkers, runners, bikers and wheelchair users and you can choose from three distances — 3km, 5km and 10km — from  Clearwater Beach through Coopers Island Reserve .

Participants can pre-register, or register on the day from 8am – the 10km walk then starts at 9am and the 3km and 5km walks start at 9.30am.

Last year walkers were able to see humpback whales swimming on their migratory route past Bermuda, so they are hoping for the same again this year.

Registration is $20, $10 for students and pledge forms can be collected at the Sportseller or downloaded here. For more information, call 238-2469 or email programs@windreach.bm
