WindReach’s Walk & Roll Set For May 17th
WindReach’s 21st Walk & Roll will be held on May 17, bringing together participants of all abilities for its inclusive community event supporting its programmes.
A spokesperson said, “WindReach is proud to announce the return of its much-loved Walk & Roll, marking the 21st year of this inclusive, community-driven event. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Front Street, this annual celebration invites participants of all ages and abilities to come together for a meaningful and fun-filled time.
“Whether you walk, roll, or run, Walk & Roll is about participation, connection, and community spirit. This year introduces an exciting new feature — the “Rollin’ Raffle”, with winners drawn live during the event. Participants are encouraged to grab their tickets for a chance to win while supporting a great cause. Visit www.windreach.bm for purchase details.
“This is a family-friendly event where everyone is welcomed. Walk & Roll lives up to its name as an inclusive and accessible event. Walkers, wheelchair users, individuals using mobility aides and families with strollers are all invited to participate.
“Participants can choose between a 3K accessible route that loops along Front Street, and a more challenging 5K route extending west along Front Street, continuing through Pitts Bay Road, St. Johns Road, and Woodlands Road before returning to the City.
“We are grateful to Clarien Bank and Butterfield & Vallis who have generously sponsored the event. Corporate, school, and community group teams are also invited, as we will be awarding prizes to the groups with the largest number of participants, along with additional fun categories. We encourage everyone to visit our website for additional details.
“All proceeds from Walk & Roll directly support WindReach’s Educational and Therapeutic Programmes, benefiting individuals living with diverse support needs across Bermuda. Every step, stride, and roll helps make a lasting impact.
“Walk & Roll 2026 promises to be a powerful celebration of inclusion, accessibility, and community. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this inspiring event.
