Allen and Hoey Win Ludwig Cann 5K Race
The Ludwig Cann 5K Road Race took place on Sunday [Apr.15] with runners and walkers at the start line. Stephen Allen and Rose-anna Hoey came away with the male and female Ludwig Cann 5K Road Race titles.
Allen was clocked across the line in a time of 16.40, Tucker Murphy finished second in a time of 17.25 and Gideon Kigotho rounded out the top three with a time of 17.55.
Hoey, the first female finisher, was fourth overall with a time of 19.28, while the second female finisher was Laura Wright who was clocked across the line in a time of 20.20, finishing seventh overall. Hilda Stoney, who was clocked across the line in a time of 20.27 was the 8th finisher, rounding out the top three female finishers.
