CBS Radio To Broadcast From Bermuda

As part of an ongoing effort between the Bermuda Department of Tourism [BDOT] and CBS Radio to drive business from Bermuda’s core US markets, two of the network’s top broadcasters from the Washington, DC and Baltimore area will broadcast live from the island this week and share their experiences with hundreds of thousands of listeners.

LaVar Arrington, former linebacker for the Washington Redskins and host of “The LaVar Arrington show with Chad Dukes” will broadcast live today from the island and again on Tuesday, April 10 from 3.00 p.m. – 7.00 p.m. Arrington’s show airs on 106.7 The Fan in Washington, DC.

Also while on Island, Arrington will tee off for a good cause during the Ross Blackie Talbot Celebrity Pro-Am, which kicked off today, April 10, at Rosewood Tucker’s Point.

Additionally, host John-Paul Flaim will broadcast his morning show “The Junkies” live from the island each morning from 7.00 a.m. – 11.00 a.m., April 9-11. “The Junkies” airs on WJFK’s 106.7 FM in DC and WHFS’s 105.7 FM in Baltimore.

Today the Minister of Business Development and Tourism Wayne Furbert said, “Our ongoing partnership with CBS Radio enables us to showcase our Island to top talent throughout our most important markets Our goal is to have these influential voices deliver our message to their devoted listeners, encouraging them to plan to their own trip to Bermuda.”

    It’s going to be a bit hard for Mr. Arrigton to broadcast today (Apr 11) and then “again on April 10″. Can you please give the correct date?
