April 3, 2012

In yesterday’s [Apr.2] Supreme Court Monthly Arraignments session, 46-year-old Shannon Forth pleaded guilty to the charge of importing $1.4 million worth of diamorphine [heroin] in December 2011. He pleaded not guilty to a second charge of possessing that heroin with intent to supply.

His guilty plea was accepted and Justice Greaves ordered a Social Inquiry Report and that Mr Forth must remain in custody until a date agreed; at which time he will come back to Court for sentencing.

The offence occurred on 6th December at the LFW Airport when Mr Forth, a Bermuda resident, arrived on a flight from Canada.
