Three Cruise Ship Visits Scheduled This Week

Hamilton harbour is this week expecting a visit from two cruise ships. On Tuesday morning Silversea’s Silver Cloud will stop by the city on its way from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The Silver Cloud is a 511 foot-long ship and is expected to be carrying just under 5oo passengers and crew on board. The cruise line is scheduled to spend the day and depart at 6:00pm continuing its voyage to Funchal, Madeira with her final destination being Monte Carlo.

Azamara Journey is expected to arrive on Thursday morning and will spend the day in Hamilton before shifting to Penno’s Wharf in St. George’s early Friday morning. The Royal Caribbean Cruise Line is 592 feet in length and is carrying just over 1000 passengers and crew.

The cruise ship is scheduled for an early morning departure on Saturday as it continues on its journey to Boston. The ship’s last port of call was the British Virgin Islands.

Dockyard’s Heritage Wharf will also see a visit on Thursday by the cruise ship Ryndam. The Holland American Line owned ship is carrying close to 2000 passengers and crew and will spend the day in Dockyard before departing at 5:00pm. The Ryndam is on its way from Tampa, Florida to St. Milo, France.
