Man Charged With Assaulting His Wife
A 52-year-old man appeared in Magistrates Court today [June 20] charged with assaulting and threatening his wife.
Andrew Smith denied the charges of unlawful assault and uttering threatening words, with the incident alleged to have occurred earlier this month.
Mr Smith was bailed out, ordered to have no contact with the complainant, and will stand trial in September.

If convicted that man deserves to get put in jail for a very long period of time. He’s a 52y/o he sould be wiser than that by now. Bermudain man irk my soul sometimes.
Clearly the UBP, or the OBA or EXPATS are to blame for this. The Portuguese might be in for some blame too. Definitely not the PLP tho.
Well if they have children and the children have been abused, nothing will happen because it has not been reported, thats how the jokers work around family services. So children use what ever means to protect yourselves.
