NOSPC Offices Closed For Two Days

The National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged will be closed today and tomorrow for staff development.

Last night a spokesperson said, “The National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged (NOSPC), located at “Stonehall” 60 Victoria Street, would like to advise the public that it will be closed tomorrow (June 14) and Friday (June 15) for staff development.

“Phone lines will, however, be monitored during this time. The telephone number for NOSPC is 292-7802. NOSPC wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank members of the public for their understanding in advance.”

    How are you gonna close this VITAL service and in many cases LIFELINES for seniors for some staff development BS ! That is so IGNORANT! So ya telling me that everybody has to go at the same time! It couldn’t be managed so that The National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged could AVOID being closed for 2 DAYS . This service to seniors is the equivalent to the HOSPITAL being closed! IT IS UNACCEPTABLE BOTTOM LINE!! Whoever scheduled this is UNSYMPATHETIC TO NEEDS OF SENIORS!
