Music Video: “All You Need Is Love”
A music video featuring a Bermudian twist on John Lennon’s “All You Need Is Love” has recently been released online, receiving over 500 views in its first 24 hours.
Lead singers in the song include Tourism Minister Wayne Furbert, Ronnie Lopes, Ed Christopher, Robert “Sai” Emery, Francesca Dill, Gita Blakeney, Will Black, Dennis Moniz, Traceylynne Harney, and Paul Harney. Many other singers — including Sports Minister Glenn Blakeney — can be seen singing in the chorus.
The vocals were all recorded inside the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art, and the music producer was Felix Tod, with all the music recorded inside Bermuda’s only solar powered recording studio. The Executive Producers of the Bermuda John Lennon Tribute are Michael Freisenbruch and Tony Brannon.
The film director for the video was Bermudian Lucinda Spurling with scenes shot all over Bermuda. They include the nurses at the hospital, the gardeners in the Botanical Gardens, the staff at Masterworks, a construction crew, the Fairmont Southampton Resort, Elbow Beach Hotel, the Fire Service, a Bus driver, Horse n Carriage drivers, the fishermen at Devonshire Dock, the Sylvia Richardson Home, Johnny Barnes and more.
