Countless people have died going along East Broadway and I believe (correct me if I’m wrong) right near that spot. Is it operator error or something wrong with the layout of the road? Very scary. My condolences to the family-I’ve had my share of road fatalities in my family so I know how awful that news is to hear.

I’d like to add, that I wish the Police would stop saying ‘a motorcycle was travelling and collided, etc.’ The cycle was not travelling on its own. They could say ‘a motorcylist was travelling when the rider and cycle collided…’ or ‘a man was riding a motorcycle when he collided…’ or something like that. It just sounds incorrect the way they express it.

I agree, same thing with the boat last week. These hings don’t go without a driver.

this happened near Tucker’s Town…different crash. The other guy lived and was arrested for DUI.

  7. I wonder,, says:

is this the same accident or is this a second death in a few days involving someone with a very similiar age???

    • Mayan says:

I’m sure it’s the same one. It seems like the accident occurred a few days ago but he just succumbed to his injuries. What terrible news.

    • Mayan says:

Actually…I just re-read this (I didn’t read all the details the first time because I thought it was the same accident)…it looks like a different accident. Wasn’t the other one on East Broadway? I think a few of us are getting them confused. I’m pretty sure the other one was on East Broadway, plus from the look of it, this one actually happened some hour this morning. I live near there and I did hear a lot of emergency response vehicles some hour of the morning (it woke me up) so this would be a different accident. How tragic!

Different accident, obviously. This one happened where South Road passes through Mid Ocean. Better to read before writing.

there was an accident in early hours of Sat morning ..that rider
(I believe 32 year old) is app in stable condition .. the above accident happened early hours of Sunday morning. There were two separate accidents but the riders were 32 and 33 hence the possible confusion. RIP Christoph.
