Dunkley Extends Condolences To Burchall Family

September 17, 2018

Shadow Minister of National Security Michael Dunkley extended his condolences to the family of Mazhye Burchall, who was killed in a road traffic collision this weekend.

Mr Burchall, 20, was an extremely talented footballer, who played for the Bermuda U20 team and also played locally, with teams paying tribute to the footballer this weekend, wearing black armbands and holding a moment of silence.

Mr. Dunkley said, “Today another family grieves with the loss of a loved one by way of a traffic fatality this weekend.

“Life can be very tough at times and losing someone so young, with so much to offer and with a loving family and many friends is as tough as it gets.

“As the family and friends grieve it is up to us as a community to comfort and support them during this very difficult period. As time moves on there will be ample opportunity to seek answers and improve road safety.

“On behalf of my family and colleagues in the OBA we send condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Burchall.”
