Health Minister Visits Hands On Art Exhibit
Minister of Health Zane De Silva attended the Bermuda Society of Arts’ latest exhibit “Hands on Art” on Thursday [July 12] in the hopes of raising awareness of the exhibit.
Hands on Art is a tactile exhibit especially for the visually impaired members of the community. Those visiting the exhibit are invited to view the art with their fingertips and there will be blindfolds for anyone who is lucky enough to have sight to experience the show as it is meant to be ‘seen’ – by touch.

After taking a tour of the exhibit, the National Office for Seniors and the Physically Challenged presented the Minister with a report based on a survey of the visually impaired in Bermuda.
