Police Execute Warrant, One Man Arrested

One man was arrested this morning [July 3] after armed police officer descended on Spanish Point and executed a search warrant.

A police spokesperson said, “As a result of specific information received, officers from the Public Protection Department including armed police officers and the Canine Unit executed a search warrant under the Firearms Act & Misuse of Drugs Act at a Sugar Apple Lane, Pembroke residence around 10am on Tuesday, July 3rd.

“During the operation a male was arrested and inquiries are ongoing,” said the police spokesperson.
