West Wins U/14 & U/17 All-Star Cricket Games

The Bermuda Cricket Board held their Under 14 and Under 17 All-Star cricket matches at the National Sports Center on Saturday [June 30] with the West All-Stars victorious in both games.

West All-Stars Win Under 14’s by 10 Runs

The match originally was scheduled to be a 30 overs affair was reduced to 22 overs. The West were bowled all out for 126, while the East could only reply with 116/5 in their 22 overs. West player San’j Dill was voted the game’s MVP scoring 43 not out. West All-Stars 126, East All-Stars 116/5

West All-Stars Win Under 17’s by 14 Runs

Neither team batted the 35 overs in this Under 17 All-Star match, as the West All-Stars were bowled all out for 117 in 29 overs, they then bowled the East All-Stars all out for 103. West All-Star Swayne Campbell who scored 36 runs was named the game’s MVP, while a catch taken by Josh Commissiong also a member of the West team was voted as the Play of the Game.
