BDOT Hosting Bermuda Nights At Barr’s Bay Park
The Bermuda Department of Tourism [BDOT] is hosting 2012 Bermuda Nights beginning this Saturday [Aug 18] at Barr’s Bay Park beginning at 8:00pm.
A Ministry spokesperson said, “Showcasing Bermuda’s best local entertainers, Bermuda Nights is the ultimate outdoor music event that offers a true Bermudian experience.
“Sit under the stars and enjoy stunning water views of Hamilton Harbour while Bermuda’s top musical entertainers entertain you with an array of island and popular music.
“Bermuda Nights also features a local cultural performance and great food offerings to complete your Bermudian experience.” The event will be held on August 18, August 25, September 8 and September 22.

Sounds nice. Can’t quite understand why BDOT is putting on a party for people already in Bermuda. Would have thought that a concert in Battery Park, Chastain Park, Central Park, Hyde Park…really any park outside of Bermuda to showcase Bermuda talent with a view to drawing potential visitors to the island.
