Ceci Wollmann Wins CORK Optimist Regatta
Ceci Wollmann is the CORK 2012 – Optimist Class Champion following the eight race Regatta held in Ontario, Canada.
Wollmann and three other Bermuda sailors concluded taking part in the CORK International Race Week.
James Amaral, Campbell Patton, Ceci and Mikey Wollmann all competed in the final day of racing with all four finishing in the top ten.
Ceci Wollmann finished the Regatta with 16 points, Wollmann finished sixth in the day’s first races, before sailing to victory in the second and final race of the day which was the eighth race of the Regatta.
Mikey Wollmann won the first race and then finished ninth in the final race. Mikey Wollmann finished in 2nd place overall with 20 points.
James Amaral moved up from his 9th place starting position to finish 8th overall with 78 points after finishes of 14th and 7th. Campbell Patton jumped up seven places from 16th to 9th overall with 83 points after finishes of 4th and 2nd.
