Flora Duffy Finishes 3rd In Los Angeles
Bermuda’s Flora Duffy finished third in the Women’s Pro Field of the Herbalife Triathlon, which was held in Los Angeles today [Sept 30]. Duffy completed the swim in a time of 20:35, clocked 1:04:05 on the bike, and 33:22 on the run course to finish 25th overall with a time of 1:59:50.
More than 2,500 people started the triathlon with a 1500-meter swim at Venice Beach. Then they competed in a 24.8-mile bicycle race to the Staples Center and wrapped up with a 6.2-mile run through downtown Los Angeles finishing at LA Live. Competitors came from 30 different states, the District of Columbia and 13 nations.
