Ignition’s Gerassimov Gains CCIA Certification

Ignition Ltd., a leader in off-shore IT solutions, announced that engineer Yevgeniy Gerassimov has received the highest Citrix technical certification, the Citrix Certified Integration Architect [CCIA] for virtualisation.

The CCIA certification focuses on best practices for analysis and design of Citrix virtualisation technologies provides recognition and credibility to IT professionals. As the most advanced Citrix certification, CCIA equips IT professionals with a depth of knowledge that will benefit organisations not only by lowering implementation costs but also increasing implementation success rates and reducing implementation time.

In order to achieve this top certification, Mr Gerassimov, one of Ignition’s team of Group Technical Architects based in Bermuda, was tested on a range of skills used to design strategic approaches to virtualisation. Alongside demonstrating his wealth of experience, an integral element of the certification, Mr Gerassimov also had to obtain the Citrix Certified Enterprise Engineer [CCEE] for virtualisation certification and complete one final exam.

Mr Gerassimov says “The CCIA track allows IT professionals like myself to build on professional experience and develop a deep technical understanding of the virtual solutions.
