Scott: Warwick South East Meeting Tonight
Lawrence Scott, the Progressive Labour Party candidate for Warwick South East, invites residents to a Public Meeting “Stop. Start. Continue.”
This meeting, to be held tonight [Sept 13] at the Warwick Seventh Day Adventist Church Hall, is an opportunity for the residents to let Mr. Scott know from their perspective what programmes the Government needs to stop, start, or continue. Mr. Scott is looking for frank and open dialogue with the residents and is excited to have this
opportunity.
“During my canvassing, I have been welcomed into the people’s homes. They have let me know their concerns and the questions that they may have. This meeting is an opportunity for us to expand on these conversations and for the residents to make tangible recommendations. I am looking forward to the conversation,” Mr. Scott stated.
Mr. Scott continued, “I’d like to invite you to join me on Thursday, September 13th at 7:30 pm for Stop. Start.Continue. I want to hear from you what programmes we need to stop because they’re not working. I want to know what you think we need to start to surely and steadily move Bermuda forward. And, I need to know what we should continue to ensure that our government keeps standing up for Bermudians.”
The meeting will begin at 7:30pm and all residents of Warwick South East and the surrounding areas are encouraged to attend.
