Taylor Ashley Bean Wins Again In Virginia
Bermuda’s Taylor Ashley Bean continued her winning ways picking up another victory on Wednesday [Sept 19] at the Virginia Union Invitational Meet at Bryan Park in Richmond, Virginia. Bean covered the course in a time of 17:54, Lindsey Bradshaw finished second clocking 18:35, Shannon Lewis finished third with a time of 18:48 and Samantha Edwards finished 4th with a time of 19:25.
Bean was competing as part of the Virginia State University team which won the women’s meet with an overall team score of 30 points. Virginia Commonwealth placed second [44], while Chowan placed third [55], and Virginia Union placed fourth [81]. The Virginia State University team will next compete at the HBCU Challenge in Cary, NC on September 29th.
