Hamilton Parish Neighbourhood Watch Meeting

Hamilton Parish Council will be holding a Neighbourhood Watch Meeting on 18th October 2012 at the Crawl Church Hall, 125 North Shore Road, Hamilton Parish at 7:00pm.

A statement from the group said: “The Council would like the Neighbourhood Watch programme to grow in Hamilton Parish. Presenters will be Chief Inspector Hashim A. Estwick and the Eastern Parish CAT Team. Neighbourhood Watch can check on homes and suspicious activities in the Neighbourhood. So if you are interested in safety in your neigbbourhood and getting to know your neighbours, come along to learn how easy it is to set up a neighourhood watch where you live.”

    We need to have a neighbour watch in EVERY neighborhood. We need to beat these criminals at their own game. Not to mention shady behaviours displayed in neighborhoods. Make this mandatory!!!

    I’m glad that we are implementing the neighbour watch. The street sign on my road was stolen recently. The sign was for Savannah Road. There was no damage to the metal frame that supports the official road sign. I guess someone wanted a trophy. Perhaps a tourist took it as a souvenier? Now days, you just never know…
