Upcoming: Junior Golf Clinic & BBQ
The Annual Tokio Millennium – Family Centre, Junior Golf Clinic and Barbeque will be held for the fourth time this coming Monday, October 22nd at the Bermuda Golf Academy in Southampton from 5:30 to 8:30.
Once again, the event is free for children between the ages of 5 and 16 and will include two hours of fun and golf instruction from Bermuda’s Professional Golf Association pros followed by a free barbeque. Children must be registered and must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration forms can be picked up at Family Centre, 25 Point Finger Road in Paget and at the Bermuda Golf Academy and Driving Range on Industrial Park Rd. [off of Middle Rd.] in Southampton. Registration forms can also be requested on-line by emailing Family Centre at golfclinic@tfc.prevention.bm.
No previous golf skill is required to get involved but Bermuda’s golf pros can lend their expertise to both first time golfers and young people who are already serious about the game.

A spokesperson said, “Children play and eat for free. Parents can purchase a meal as well. Prizes will be provided to all registered children and special prizes will be provided courtesy of the Bermuda PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
