Southampton Roadworks Until 7pm Tonight
“BELCO wishes to advise Southampton residents that the work associated with today’s scheduled outage is taking longer than anticipated to complete,” a BELCO spokesperson said.
“Crews now expect to restore power at approximately 7:00 PM. The original restoration time was 5:00 PM.The outage affects Southampton residents on Middle Road, as well as on roads in the area between Raynors Drive and Rebecca Road, and Riviera Road to Fork Lane, including the Scenic Heights area.
“Crews are removing overhead cables and equipment, because underground cables have been installed in connection with utility relocation for Government’s road-widening project.
“BELCO apologises to area residents for the delay and thanks them for their patience, as work is completed.”
