Police Officers & KBB Clean Up Parsons Rd

On Saturday [Jan 12] police officers from the central community action team joined local residents and volunteers to assist in a clean-up of the Parson Rd playground and surrounding areas organized by Keep Bermuda Beautiful [KBB] and its executive director Ms. Anne Hyde.

Sgt. Scott Devine of the Community Action Team said “KBB have been a great supporter of the work being done in the communities and its only right that we come out and offer our support.

“This area has been a concern for some time so we’re glad to be able to come out and support residents in their efforts to take ownership of the area and tackle neighborhood decay.”

    You’re going to need some extra thick bin liners for the trash sitting around up Fentons Drive. Probably best if you take it right to the incinerator.

    Thankyou guys but really this is a job for prisoners. If off duty BPS people want to donate time, they can be there, tasers at the ready, to make sure the prisoners don’t run off & catch a bus somewhere.
