Women’s & Men’s Division Hockey Results
The hockey pitch at the National Sports Center saw action from both the men’s and women’s divisions on Saturday [Feb 16]. In the women’s game the Ravens and Wildcats played to a tied game score while in the men’s match, Polecats shut out Pantheons 4 – 0.
Women’s Division: Ravens 1 Wildcats 1
Alecia Holder gave the Wildcats the lead in the 29th minute when she connected from a Penalty Corner. However Megan Troake equalized for the Ravens from a Penalty Corner in the 51st minute.
Men’s Division: Polecats 4 Pantheons 0
Nigel Deane gave the Polecats the lead with a Field Goal in the 47th minute against the Pantheons. Craig Burt doubled the Polecats lead when he scored a Field Goal in the 49th minute.
Deane scored his second goal of the game converting a Penalty Stroke in the 56th minute and then Andrew Brouwer closed out the scoring for the Polecats with a Field Goal in the 61st minute.
