Bermuda Cricket Team Defeat Bahamas

[Updated: Bermuda win by 127 runs. Bahamas won the toss and sent Bermuda to bat. Captain Stephen Outerbridge was out with the first ball, however Dion Stovell and David Hemp took Bermuda pass the 100 run mark.

Stovell was the top scorer with 77 off 56 balls, while Hemp added 66 from 54 balls. Janeiro Tucker got in on the act with four straight sixes, scoring 30 runs off 8 deliveries.We will post the scorecard as able]

The Bermuda Cricket Board is providing live updates — via Twitter — of the Bermuda vs Bahamas game which started at 11am this morning [Mar 18]. The BCB said they will be tweeting updates every 5 overs.

The Bermuda cricket squad departed yesterday in their quest to qualify for the 2014 World T20 in Bangladesh. The regional tournament, held in Florida, will provide two countries an opportunity to compete in the World T20 qualifier in Dubai this November.
