Saturday’s Bermuda Netball League Results
A host of netball games took place on Saturday [Mar 3], in the Under 12, Under 15 and Senior League 1st and 2nd Divisions.
Under 12 Division
The North Village Lady Rams defeated the Netts Blacks, while the Netts Whites defeated the Cougar Cubs and the Devonshire Cubs defeated the Young Men Social Club Baby Bluebirds.
Under 15 Division
Shondae Woods Bell scored 17 goals to lead the Superstarz to a 23 – 13 win over the North Village Lady Rams, while Tionae Bean added 6 goals. Brianna Swainson scored 7 goals for the North Village Lady Rams, Xah-Niyah Hunt added 4 goals and Zhanae Simmons scored twice.
The Young Men Social Club Bluebird Younguns defeated the Netts Greens 31 – 6, Demiqua Daniels scored 17 goals for the Younguns, while Stashie Rogers added 13 goals and Pria Lewis scored once, while Debre Evans and Inshanae Smith scored 3 goals apiece for the Netts Greens.
Senior League 1st Division
The DataTech Netts defeated the SS Tigers 52 – 23, Gina Benjamin scored 36 goals to lead the DataTech Netts to victory, while Kimale Evans added 11 goals and Christine Trott scored 5 goals. Jah-Kenya Trott scored 18 goals for the SS Tigers, while Rose Richardson added 5 goals.
Senior League 2nd Division
The Young Men Social Club Blazzin Bluebirds defeated Robin Hood 39 – 36, Fredricka Samuels scored 28 goals for the Young Men Social Club Blazzin Bluebirds who also got 11 goals from Akelah Hendrickson, while Katie Brown scored 19 goals for Robin Hood, while Shannon Etchells added 14 goals and Abbie Caldras scored 3 times.
