Citizens Uprooting Racism in Bermuda [CURB] in collaboration with the Bermuda National Gallery [BNG} is continuing its series of free lunchtime lectures this week with a presentation on continuing efforts to prohibit discrimination on the island on the grounds of sexual orientation.

Suzanne Mayell will be giving the address on Wednesday [Apr. 10] at the BNG’s City Hall facility from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

A CURB spokesman said:”Ordinary people have long driven the advancement of human rights around the globe, and Bermuda is no exception.

“Come and hear about the importance of Bermudian stories and individual experiences in the Two Words and a Comma advocacy group’s campaign to include protection against discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation in Bermuda’s Human Rights Act.”
