HNK’s New Mixtape, Chewstick Performance
Teenage musical duo Hollie Hassell and Keenan Bailey — who go by the stage name HNK — will be releasing a mixtape of songs they have worked on together on May 1.
Berkeley Institute students HNK have collaborated on a number of music productions in recent months and the 10-song mixtape will feature such numbers as “Lost In Your Eyes”, “Marvin’s Room”, “Can You Feel The Love” and “Man On The Moon.”
Aside from cover versions of popular songs by artists as diverse as Drake and Hunter Hayes, the mixtape will feature original material including “I Wanna Go Home.”
The talented Bermuda teens began working together earlier this year.
“Hollie wanted to sing,” Keenan Bailey told Bernews last month. “Being that I’m a singer/songwriter/producer/ recording engineer, I made her wish come true.”
This Saturday [Apr. 1] at 6pm we’ll be performing a Chewstick TWIGS [True Wisdom In Growing Souls] session.
TWIGS is Chewstick’s open-mic, youth-led programme which provides a regular monthly venue for young Bermudian performers.
The session will be held at Chewstick’s Chewstick Neo-Griot Lounge & Café on the corner of Elliott and Court Streets.
