Basketball League: Panthers, Bluebirds Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s CellOne Elite City League Season continued inside the Somersfield Academy School Gymnasium last night [May 8].
The Fort Knox Panthers jumped out to an early lead going on to defeat the Storm 82 – 54. Ronnie Bushner scored a game high 28 points for the Fort Knox Panthers, while Steven Simons scored 23 points for the Storm.
Game 2 saw the defending champions Bluebirds move to 2 & 0 on the season with a 53 – 46 win over the Robin Hood Warriors. Dion Easton scored 17 points for the Bluebirds, while Kellen Beckham scored 17 points.
