[Updated with photos] Tune in live and watch as 99 students graduate from Bermuda College this afternoon [May 23], with the ceremony due to start at 2:30pm.
The College traditionally awards Associate Degree, Diploma and Certificate status on students in the divisions of Applied Science & Technology, Business Administration & Hospitality, and Liberal Arts. Ceremonies also feature graduates of the College’s partnership with Mount Saint Vincent University baccalaureate degree programme in Business Administration and Child and Youth Studies.

Update 4.18pm: The PLP congratulated the 2013 Bermuda College Graduating class, with Shadow Education Minister Walton Brown saying, “On behalf of the Bermuda Progressive Labour Party, our members and supporters, I wish to congratulate the 2013 graduating class of the Bermuda College. Your hard work and sacrifice have been rewarded and we encourage you to carry forward that same attitude to your future endeavors.”
The Shadow Minister continued,”The partnerships formed by the Bermuda College in recent years, have enabled Bermudians to have access to an unprecedented level of educational and training opportunities. Now, more than ever, the Bermuda College is an excellent vehicle for moving our Bermudians forward.”
PLP Leader Marc Bean added, “Our graduates enter a Bermudian economic environment that few of us have ever known. The competition for jobs is stiff, yet this time also represents a tremendous opportunity to create your own opportunities. Let this milestone be the beginning of your contribution to our society as workers, managers, entrepreneurs and employers.”

Congratulations to all who achieved their academic goals! How do you distinguish between graduates with a bachelors and a masters? The Mt. St. Vincent students are dressed like a professor who I know has a masters degree. Just curious!
