Nahki Wells & Bradford Off To Wembley

Nahki Wells and his Bradford City teammates set off this morning [May 17] to begin their journey to Wembley Stadium for the League 2 Play-Off Final tomorrow.

The travelling squad were waved off by a group of gathered supporters as they left Bradford this morning. The squad are scheduled to stop off and train roughly halfway into their journey south before completing the trip to their hotel base this afternoon.

Bradford earned a trip back to Wembley Stadium for the second time this season, after their 3-1 victory — in which Wells scored twice — against Burton Albion qualified them for the League 2 play-offs.

They will play in the final on Saturday [May 18] where they will take on Northampton, with the winner of the match earning a promotion to League 1.

    Good luck Mr. Wells to you and Bradford City FC! You and your team have worked extremely hard this season and promotion to League 1 would be a fitting reward for BCFC. Regardless of the result, you can all hold your heads high, however I’m betting on you guys to take the game.
