U.S. Consulate General Staff Donate Vouchers

Staff members at the U.S. Consulate General recently pooled donations in honour of Mother’s Day and used the funds to supply food vouchers for abused mothers and their children to the Centre against Abuse.

“To mark Mothers’ Day, May 12th, the U.S. Consulate General collected $250 in staff donations to purchase Marketplace food vouchers for abused mothers and their children trying to start over with the help of the Centre against Abuse. The Centre identified vouchers as critical for these mothers and children”, a spokesperson said.
