Visitor Information Centre Contracts Awarded
Minister of Tourism Development and Transport Shawn Crockwell announced the awarding of contracts to operate the Visitor Information Centres [VIC] in St. George’s, Hamilton and Dockyard.
The successful VIC vendor for the City of Hamilton:
Alison Outerbridge
Bermuda Heritage Tours
Location – Ferry Terminal Building
The successful VIC vendor for the Town of St. George:
Phillip Anderson
Destination St. George
Location – Market Wharf – King’s Square
The successful VIC vendor for the Royal Naval Dockyard:
Captain Steven ‘Cooky’ Brown
Destiny Tours
Location – King’s Wharf, Heritage Wharf and Ferry Dock VIC Kiosk
Minister Crockwell said: “The VICs are often the first place visitors to Bermuda go to find out what to do and where to go. I am confident the recently awarded contracts to operate the VICs will ensure an unforgettable experience for our visitors so that they can truly experience why Bermuda is so much more.”
