Basketball League: Storm & Bluebirds Win
The Bermuda Basketball Association’s CellOne Elite City League season continued this past weekend with a doubleheader inside the Somersfield Academy Gymnasium.
The Storm won the opening game defeating the Outback 80 – 55. Jaron Haley scored a game high 21 points for the Storm, while Dean Jones scored 19 points for the Outback’s.
The second game saw the defending champions Bluebirds end a two game losing streak as they defeated the Trinity Sound Lions 49 – 41. Te’Jour Riley led the Bluebirds to victory with 15 points, while Reggie Tolosa scored 15 points for the Trinity Sound Lions.
