C.A.R.E. Graduation To Be Held On Thursday
On Thursday [June 27] at the St. Paul A.M.E. Church, 23 students will be graduating receiving their G.E.D. diplomas. In addition to the graduates, students of C.A.R.E. will also receive prizes for their attendance during the school term.
This year’s ceremony will highlight the success of the alternative programme and will acknowledge the recipients of the highest scores obtained on the G.E.D. taken locally at the Bermuda College and six of the students will be receiving recognition for this achievement.
The Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Roger Butterfield will acknowledge the recipients of the scholarship awards presented to students who continue to show great academic potential. The learning centre is owned by former MP Neletha Butterfield, who is also the director of the centre.
The ceremony begins at 12:30 p.m. and CA.R.E. Learning Centre invites the community to support this event highlighting the success of our young people and the positive roles that our young people and adults are achieving through continued education.
