Day #4 Results: ITF Junior Circuit Tournament

Two former Caribbean Under 14 Number One Ranked players from Bermuda took to the court on Day Four of the ITF Junior Circuit Tournament going on at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.

Bermuda’s Tyler Smith took to the court and defeated her American opponent Alexandria Agee in straight sets 6-0, 6-2, while Chris Rego went down in first round match in straight sets to Columbian Jorge Vargas 6-3, 6-0.

There were two shocks on the day, as the two number two seeds in both the Under 18 Boys and Girls Division went down.

Under 18 Boys second seed Kevin Major from the Bahamas went down in straight sets 6-4, 6-1 to Franz Luna Lavidalie from Guaya, while Laura Fabrizi from Venezuela defeated the second seed Breana Stampfli from Trinidad in a three setter on the Girls side. Fabrizi won the first set 6-4, Stampfli won the second set 6-3, before Fabrizi pulled off the upset winning the third set 6-2.
